Random, as I always do
Friday, November 19, 2010 || 11:55 PM
Nothing much to rant, just for the sake of blogging. HAHA. (lame).
I am wondering, does anyone here who just came back from some event happily and the next moment your parents ruined everything?
*Raise both legs and hands*
Trust me, it doesn't feel good. And I always experience that. I always wonder, as we grow up, the generation gap is something unseen but its there. I do wish there's no generation gap where you know those good parent-child relationship, I do want it badly. I do.
What I really hate that is when parents realised they made a mistake, they never said sorry, because they are parents AFTERALL. and money doesn't solve anything though.
Going into university doesn't mean that I am getting more materialistic and going for branded stuffs. How to you consider things as 'branded'? Oh well, A label on a piece of shirt is considered BRANDED too right? *Grins*
AHH, cut the crap.

Random collection of my toyss. A SMALL part of it. I have around 60+ toys in my room plus sis's one and everyone of them has a name!. =D
Made tiramisu today. Turned out to be too cheesy to my liking but it looks great. =D

Merging into a new life
Sunday, March 14, 2010 || 9:22 PM
Now, I feel like as if I am surviving week by week, once its Friday, I would be really delighted that its finally weekend, but Monday's coming.
Lab sessions are pretty stressful, thats why I never liked lab too much. Back in inti where everything is pure fun and all by our own, in here, its freaking restricted. I know, its uni life and yeah, lab safety.
Recap of the week:
Baked carrot cupcakes with CC in my house. It was fun, and the cupcakes turned out really good.

Tadah!
Went to pyramid with Xin Ling. Its more like a way to destress ourselves.

Uni life is pretty fun now I think, nevertheless, its hectic. I am starting to get used to it la. Just I wished I had a car. *Hopefully soon
Oh yea, I start to get paranoid to drive when its heavy rain. Okay la, I rarely drive when its heavy rain, and today rained quite heavily in the afternoon and I wanted to drive to pasar malam but ended up going home as its really really heavy till I couldn't see a single thing.
Here comes Monday.=(

1st entry of 2010

I miss the times when I could just buy shoes whenever I want.
I miss the times when I shop without feeling worried that I am broke.
Okay, I should just stop those nonsense. I didn't go bankrupt, just that I spend more WISELY nowdays.
2010, not a bad start afterall. But I have to admit that I lost contacts with many peoples, U8 dudes, college dudes and etc. A day just after christmas we went to Grace's house for bbq party. Met lotsa new ppl over there and a few of us went lah.

baked this for the party. It actually sunk at both sides. I dunno why, but it sure does taste yummy.=)

Try and spot us.=)
Then we went to Genting again on the 1st Jan. Nothing much but walk walk and walk. Bought a new pair of heels from Padini. 50% off though. I love saless. I spend pretty wisely. Really.

In the car.
The next day after Genting, we had BBQ, it actually rained and we found one spot at the basement for bbq. Oh well, 4 generations of photography club members are here. Its like a small gathering. Barbeque-ing in the basement under the rain. Not a bad feeling afterall.

With Miss Then, our 4 generation bio teacher and photography club adviser. Why 4 generation? Lol. It actually starts in 2007 when I'm the president, then in 08, Kevin Cheng, 09-my sis. and 10, sayang. XD. *fingers crossed* Its more like how we worked together in a group actually.
Then I feel like baking cupcakes, so I decided to ask Irene to bake cupcakes with me. Its a mess, and filled with trial and error, but its so worth it. I try modifying the recipe from the cake above and it suceeded.=D

Not bad for first timers working with the frostings.
Now I realised that how MUCH sugar people put in their frosting. Its scary when you realise the amount of sugar you need to use.
pink coloured ones- banana flavour
dark brown- dark chocolate
light brown- coffee
Sis gave 8/10 out of it. Seriously, the amount of sugar for the frosting should be reduced.
Tomorrow would be a full day of working. And I would start teaching tuitions to my neighbours.
Hectic life? Maybe not afterall.
