I am HUNGRY
Wednesday, January 12, 2011 || 11:16 PM

I need FOOD. Like seriously.

I remember what contributes to my physical built today. Supper.

Seriously. I think I can binge on peanut butter on crackers like 10 pm at night? or simply peanut butter. Or sometimes 2 slices of bread loaded with peanut butter AGAIN for tea time?

Okay. I love peanut butter and peanuts.

I guess its just me with another food cravings.

Did some shopping today AGAIN. I do wonder, when I am able to shop without worries? Or maybe in another way, shop with a concious mind? But think again, I am able to get a top from F21, one from MNG and one from FOS and it costs a total of 90 bucks?

Call me frugal. But its me =). But not to forget I bought a top from Cotton On Last week and a cardigan from MNG last two weeks.

WAIT. And before that was my HK trip and I bought erm, bag, flats, wallet, and tops?

and WAIT. The previous week before I go HK, I bought a bag from MNG. Em, I think thats all I bought. Tee hee. =DD

And next week would be CNY shopping according to mum. =))

Short update

Short update

Fell sick for the past 2 days. Mild fever and terrible sore throat. Slept for 3 hours yesterday afternoon and couldn't sleep at night. I had been such a light sleeper lately for some unknown reason.

Went to Tony Romas to celebrate Doon's birthday. The rest went to Lagoon in the morning and I did not join.

Food was alright. The burger was a lil tough though, I would prefer if they use chicken thighs than breast.

I love the beef bacon. Yummeh.

Some other food pics that I am quite lazy to post up.

Some chicken breast and broccoli.

Group snapshot.

Had been watching 'Yee Hoi Hou Ching' lately. Time to catch up with some dramas.

I realised that my blog undergo some phase changes, there are moments where I blog so frequently and sometimes it was left abandoned for ages.

Maybe I felt somethings should be kept private and only to be shared with people you trust =).

Sometimes I felt the generation gap where there are things we don't think alike. For me, I don't think of the negative part even before something has arised.
Someday I will. in fact, in a luxury one. =). I don't care what they say.
Will be baking carrot cakes tomorrow. =))

Holidays
Friday, November 26, 2010 || 12:51 PM

Hade been enjoying holidays so far. Looking forward to the summer course actually. At least its better than rotting at home.

TGI Fridays. I think Italianies have a more generous serving and the price is cheaper as well.

Went to Fong Lye the other day with CC and I think the food is at times a bit overrated. I don't think I would pay 9 bucks for something like this.

Some sweet potato balls. A bit of dissapointment. Not because of the price but how it taste. Its actually hollow with some glutinous rice inside there. Very little glutinous rice in fact. It would be really good if they at least put some sweet potatoes inside.

Jogoya with Irene the other day. ABC counter. Yums.

Our starter.
I realised that we don't really appreciate food when its in excess. Really.

I think roses look the best in red. and white roses awesome at the same time. I think in far future I would seriously love a garden wedding in the morning surrounded with white and pale pink flowers and a champagne and red roses at night.

LV. Someday I will step into there and come out with something.

Jeng, girls bowling session. Summit is a place for cheap movies and cheap bowling. =D

Yuen steamboat. I had been feasting for 2 days. and I love the clams and seafood. Yums.

Chicken wingsss. Its always gone in 30 seconds after its served. Our second helping. Yummy.

Now u get why I say I gotta work it out? Ahahah

My body is achinggg. =//. I realised that I don't have the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows in my Harry Potter collection. Its either I didn't buy the book or I lost the book in my collection. =(. Oh well, gonna get it soon.

I am hungry right now, been rotting a home carrying a 5 kg dumbell on my each hands and walked around and its HEAVY. its like 10 kgs.

Twist, Lick and Dunk!
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 || 6:45 PM

Remember the twist, lick and dunk oreo advertisement? Yeah. Who don't love oreos? At least I do.

Picture from http://www.kitchenist.com/
You can do lots of stuff with it, just with a lil imagination. Probably thats the reason why did I took up Food Science.
Have you ever tried Oreo cookies vanilla ice cream? I know its similar to the cookies and cream ice-cream, but in a much better version. Maybe you can try it by yourself.
Ingredients.
1 litre of vanilla ice-cream(any flavours will do actually)
I packet of oreos
Method.
1. Remove the oreo fillings and put around 15-20 pcs of plain oreos into a clean plastic bag.
2. Use a wooden roller, crush the oreos into bits. Well, You can make it a lil chunkier, up to your preference.
3. Mix it into the vanilla ice-cream, mix till even(Make sure the vanilla ice cream is slightly melted, its easier to mix)
4. Even it out and decorate the top with a few pcs of oreos if you like.
5. Freeze it for around 5 hours.
Voila!. Its done. Seriously, it taste good.

Food
Sunday, March 7, 2010 || 3:36 PM

Tell me, who hate food? Or eating would be a torture for them? I am quite sure almost everyone have their own favourite food, or cuisine or whatever you call it la. That's part of what I am studying right now. Food and culture.

Not going to talk bout that but I just hate the fact that I don't do wise decisions when it comes to food. For instance? I hate spending lots of money for commercialised restaurants that people go for the sake of the name and not the food quality. But oh well, why not we just have a try then?

Went to Sushi King at Jusco Seremban 2 as we don't feel like getting fast food or things like that.

We were wrong, we should have went to Secret Recipe lunch set instead.

Seriously, the food is not up to my expectation, regardless how famous it is. I would rather spend that amount of money in Sushi Zan Mai instead.

We ordered a bento tempura set. The tempuras were so dry and it irritates my throat. The fish smells really bad. I mean those horrible fishy smell eventhough its deep fried. The tamago sushi is so loose and its cold. Cold and stale. The rice is dry and the service is slow?

How I wish there's a sushi Zanmai in Seremban, I'm glad I don't stay there permanently.

The pricing is almost the same, sometimes cheaper in Zan Mai but the quality is far more better compared to Sushi King.

I'm sort of picky when it comes to Japanese food. Although Shogun is famous for its quantity and not the quality. But ITS STILL MUCH better than Sushi King.

When you mention food. I miss SS15 area. I guess I'm gonna pre-pack my own lunch soon enough if I don't find any nice food around Monash that is reasonable. =(
