Holidays
Friday, November 26, 2010 || 12:51 PM

Hade been enjoying holidays so far. Looking forward to the summer course actually. At least its better than rotting at home.

TGI Fridays. I think Italianies have a more generous serving and the price is cheaper as well.

Went to Fong Lye the other day with CC and I think the food is at times a bit overrated. I don't think I would pay 9 bucks for something like this.

Some sweet potato balls. A bit of dissapointment. Not because of the price but how it taste. Its actually hollow with some glutinous rice inside there. Very little glutinous rice in fact. It would be really good if they at least put some sweet potatoes inside.

Jogoya with Irene the other day. ABC counter. Yums.

Our starter.
I realised that we don't really appreciate food when its in excess. Really.

I think roses look the best in red. and white roses awesome at the same time. I think in far future I would seriously love a garden wedding in the morning surrounded with white and pale pink flowers and a champagne and red roses at night.

LV. Someday I will step into there and come out with something.

Jeng, girls bowling session. Summit is a place for cheap movies and cheap bowling. =D

Yuen steamboat. I had been feasting for 2 days. and I love the clams and seafood. Yums.

Chicken wingsss. Its always gone in 30 seconds after its served. Our second helping. Yummy.

Now u get why I say I gotta work it out? Ahahah

My body is achinggg. =//. I realised that I don't have the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows in my Harry Potter collection. Its either I didn't buy the book or I lost the book in my collection. =(. Oh well, gonna get it soon.

I am hungry right now, been rotting a home carrying a 5 kg dumbell on my each hands and walked around and its HEAVY. its like 10 kgs.

The day we grew 4 inches taller and catching up with good ol' days
Sunday, July 25, 2010 || 4:34 PM

I am going to miss this girl. Future dermatologist.

We used to sit together, eat together, toilet together, talking bout 'File' together, trip together, shop together and crap all sorts of nonsense together.

I remember how I used to wear high heels back in Inti days, asking my fellow classmates in my class to wear along. I sort of miss those days.

I was a avid fan of heels, though I know I am rather tall. And wearing heels itself make me look intimidating and huge. But who can resist the love for that?

Dad ask me 'are you going to open a shoe store or what?' shoeboxes are stacking up in my house.

Went to pyramid during our friggin 5 hours break as there's no tutorial. We watched Inception and watching how Leonardo Dicaprio changes from the way he used to look in Titanic. From a young man into a urm, mature, sophisticated one perhaps.

I wonder, how gracefully will we age?

While waiting for the lift.

And we ran back and broke a couple of road rules on the way back because we're rushing for a class at 3pm. Jam at pyramid at 2 something? you must be kidding and you're stuck in the middle of the jam at 2.40? oh no man. and Monash is just 5 mins drive away minus the jam.

Closing of one chapter=opening of a new one?
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 || 9:26 PM

*Just had a scrumptious lunch at Zan Mai, helping Unna to break her 'sushi virginity'.

Today officially marks the last day of work in OAR. No unusual feeling. Maybe its because I'm already tired of working. Next week's cny and the week after that is orientation and then classes will start.

We were required to fill in a survey form to write out how we feel bout ICSJ. I guess most of us are here because of one thing, reasonable price and we get good lecturers.

1 and a half year is not long or short. But time does flies. I made friends over there and my mandarin improved.

But I would like to say a thing, never judge a person unless you talked to him/her before for at least a couple of times.

In fact, when I changed my perspective towards it, I gained friends. I gained shopping kakis and chatting kakis =).

Starting a new life in monash sounds a lil scary to me. Cut throat fees are enough to kill me. I am aiming for a at least 85% though. I need scholarship.

Can you spot me?

Time to say goodbye.
Monday, February 8, 2010 || 10:47 PM

I am not those kind of people who thinks that things last forever.

I had a pretty much eventful week. Ranging from shopping spree with sis and sayang, irene's farewell, then shopping in 1U, steamboat with Anthony and CC, and yeah, makan sessions and Irene's REALLY surprise party.

I known her since standard 3 when she came from Sri KL and it was like a chaos and exciting when the class knows a Sri KL girl coming to our school. Hilarious I know, but you know, feeling excited why would people change from Sri KL to here ok.

Years passed, we do quarrel and I am proud to say I am the 1st one who make her cry from anger. And we became good buddies who bake together, sleep together, shop together, study together and yes, we're besties.

We always share bout file, ah kor, Mr Y, Mr J, and her Mr Future Doctor.

And well, being able to give her a surprise to see the person she wants to see quite badly is at least something I can do for ber.

10 years of friendship don't come easy, leaping to the 11th year and she's flying aboard. Guess the plane just landed and we'll certainly miss you.

No more 1 hour phone talk gossiping bout ppl, sharing how naggy are our mums. How our friends excel in exams and we're telling each other that its okay.

8 months and she'll be back. Its long but I'll miss you. Don't forget my souviniers from New Zealand.=)

Love,
Callie a.k.a Kar Lai

Wrapping it up
Friday, January 8, 2010 || 10:18 PM

Making a wrap on what's on during the enrolment week.

1. Its fun, yes and we're busy on the Monday when classes officially start. Really, really busy.

2. It makes me realise that first impression is not THAT important. Know the person well first.

3. Making new friends.

4. Able to find people to take over our text books. Woo hoo. Like finally its sold. I sold my Maths 1, Stats 1, Maths 2 and Stats 2 in a really reasonable price, and my bio text book too. Great loss, but I think its fine lor.

5. Knew things I never knew. Ok, this shall not be explained further.

6. We got moolahs. Only around 2 months later.

7. I dun think I saw a lot of leng zais. A few Koreans which look pretty good.

8. I dunno la. Working again in INTI next week.

In search for a..
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 || 10:38 PM

New BLOG SKIN. Hahaha.

I am seriously thinking whether want to customize one myself or not.

Well, I am pretty much like walking corpse everyday after work. Minus the fact that I have to take bus home. And thanks to those so called efficient RapidKLs, there's only one U67 every half and hour, and yeah, did I mention that it depends? First day I sat the bus at 5.30, Second day, luckier 5 pm. Today, 4.45.

Annoying I know, but I have no choice. That's why I SERIOUSLY NEED A CAR.

There's no need to remind for the petrol costs and parking and etc.

That's pretty much why I am working.

To get a camera and for my new year shopping, anyway, for me, new year is not a MUST to shop since I think I probably shop every month. Lol. I think maybe this year I should go for more visiting.

I'm closer to my camera. But I think some days I work around 10 hours, including giving tuition.

Gosh. I'm exhausted. Gonna miss her since she's leaving to NZ soon.

Soon, I'll dedicate a entry for her.=)
