CNY shopping
Saturday, January 30, 2010 || 11:01 PM

With sis and sayang!.

Its was kinda a fruitful one minus the fact that we have not enough time and its very crowded. Regardless where we go.

Btw. we went to the 3 places(Sg Wang, Pavillion and Times)

Its super crowded and all of us got stuffs.

Minus the not so fun fact that I suspect that there's a pickpocket who wants to steal my phone while we're boarding the bus. WTH.

And I don't know what makes the passageway to times SO CROWDED. When I mean CROWDED. Its really is. We're like moving inch BY inch. We thought there's some famous people or things like that. But people can still camwhore in the crowd.

SMILE. :D

Met up with Pau-Lene and Mei Fenn, We were searching for that Zang Toi cafe but just to realised that it was closed down. Chatted for a while and left before Jiayi and Chyeli came.=.=

Going pavillion was fun, with those camwhoring sessions. This is the normal one.

We're looking at the sky. (Damn lame I know)

I am freaking tired.

I bought 4 dresses, 2 belts, 1 top for only 150 bucks. Jeng jeng jeng.
Damn damn satisfying. But I hate my jelly arms. Haih.

Irene's farewell tomorrow @ Shogun.

Toodles.

I finally got myself the set I mentioned in the previous post. It was random I know. I got the Exclusive travel collection which looks something similar in the pic minus the mini one.

Results are finally out. Satisfied? Probably yes. AS results taught me to be contented and sometimes its what you CAN not what you WANT.

Better than I expect(I have pretty low expectations for myself this time). At least I proved that I can do something that some think I couldn't. *grins

Getting the perfume was a real random decision. I thought of getting it by end of the month when my salary is out, but I couldn't wait to get my hands on it so I went to pyramid to get it.

Sometimes its really hard when people put expectations on you. I did, for myself previously. At least my parents didn't FORCE me and MUST secure a scholarship in order to do that.

'All these are just temporary, when time flies, you'll eventually move on and forget bout it.'

Wise enough for me when I heard this from one of my lecturers.

Got pissed off by some people who thinks that they're too good for others.

Oh c'mon, I don't think you worth my concern anymore.

I am currently,

-having headache, despite popping in one panadol into my mouth an hour ago.
-feeling bloated.guess its due to the combo of durian+opera cake.

Seriously, I don't find a point feeling nervous or what now. What's done is done.(shyt, it sound so not me weyh). Seriously, I'm numb with all those nervous stuff now.

went to dad's company dinner and had buffet. Guessed that my self control worked quite well lah, but the beef sausages was really awesome, or did I forget bout the fondue and overloaded ice kacang with jellies and nuts?

and I think luck must have been in my side. Lol. The perfume I had been eyeing all these while is under sale. Its like Rm175 for a set of perfume+lotion when it usually cost 250 bucks for the perfume alone. Damn worth it k? Lol.

Shyt la, I'm feeling pretty subconcious now. Thanks to my headache.

L' Opera
Saturday, January 23, 2010 || 5:24 PM

L' Opera was a success. Seriously. The almond sponge was awesome. The ganache was smooth, the coffee smells really good. *salivates.

Will update more bout it later.

Getting ready for dad's company dinner at Sunway Hotel.

AS/A2 results will be out on Monday.

*Fingers crossed.

P:S. Had a nice dream yesterday. I wished I never need to wake up from that dream. Oh well, super thanks to the alarm clock.

I feel like a drug eating machine

Lacking of entries I know but I am like sick during the whole month of January. My 2010 starts in a miserable way.

After recover from the high fever which results in low blood pressure and end up dripping in the clinic, now I'm suffering from:
-rashes(doctor say its post fever rash)
-terrible sore throat
-swollen gum.

Its not fun I tell you. Dunno what anti inflammation la, histamine la. flaggy la. those medications are driving me mad.

Oh, not to forget that the med will make me drowsy so a short update only.

Its like a massive jam to go college everyday to work and my job is filing.

I broke record by filing since 9 am to 1.30pm. O.O

I am going to work for another 2 weeks, enjoy another 2 weeks and orientation starts.

New beginning in Monash but I am freaking worried for my results.

Well, to be frank, I am sort of ready for it. What will come will come right? Not that bad I think, except my stats. Its tough. Like seriously.

Wish me all the best man.

First attempt of baking L`Opera this sat. Scheduled teeth scaling, then dad's company dinner at Sunway Hotel.

Then next week KL shopping spree and Irene's farewell @ Shogun One U.

The meds start to take effect. Nite=)

Its pretty torturing when you're sick, especially when your back ache like no body's business and you barely could walk, and unable to work.

Sigh.

Went to pyramid with CC and Grace. We didn't do much shopping, maybe we're just too bored with pyramid. Next stop would be KL. Long shopping list but I always want to get a pretty dress for casual wear though.

Working life is 'fun'. We always ask for file during the college days and we're surrounded by thousands of files on our first day of work. Ironic huh?

Facts

When you saw a show you really really like and you're dying to get it, but its just 1 size smaller than your feet, what would you do?

Two options,
A) Forget bout it, afterall you may find another one
B) Get it no matter what, oh well, wear it for a couple of times and it should be fine. Eventhough you know you'll end up with blisters and corns around your feet.

If I were to answer this question last year or so, I would choose B, but now A is my option.

What's the point fitting in something that you know you'll suffer in it? Although how much you like it, but do you think you'll not be able to find another one? Or maybe you'll find something similar somewhere.

Went to EduFair today with Grace, a quite sudden decision actually and actually we bumped into some people we know. Thats one of the reason I want to go to edu fair la, just to ask around and etc. But I never knew I was so brave to *cough, details should not be explained la. Afterall, I already decided to go into Monash.

We supposed to work for Inti for Edufair, but since they already recuit enough people, oh well, we're pretty fine with it and at the same time we're glad that we're not working as its damn hectic from what I see la.

Oh, and finally a visit to pyramid tomorrow. Shopping

Wrapping it up
Friday, January 8, 2010 || 10:18 PM

Making a wrap on what's on during the enrolment week.

1. Its fun, yes and we're busy on the Monday when classes officially start. Really, really busy.

2. It makes me realise that first impression is not THAT important. Know the person well first.

3. Making new friends.

4. Able to find people to take over our text books. Woo hoo. Like finally its sold. I sold my Maths 1, Stats 1, Maths 2 and Stats 2 in a really reasonable price, and my bio text book too. Great loss, but I think its fine lor.

5. Knew things I never knew. Ok, this shall not be explained further.

6. We got moolahs. Only around 2 months later.

7. I dun think I saw a lot of leng zais. A few Koreans which look pretty good.

8. I dunno la. Working again in INTI next week.

In search for a..
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 || 10:38 PM

New BLOG SKIN. Hahaha.

I am seriously thinking whether want to customize one myself or not.

Well, I am pretty much like walking corpse everyday after work. Minus the fact that I have to take bus home. And thanks to those so called efficient RapidKLs, there's only one U67 every half and hour, and yeah, did I mention that it depends? First day I sat the bus at 5.30, Second day, luckier 5 pm. Today, 4.45.

Annoying I know, but I have no choice. That's why I SERIOUSLY NEED A CAR.

There's no need to remind for the petrol costs and parking and etc.

That's pretty much why I am working.

To get a camera and for my new year shopping, anyway, for me, new year is not a MUST to shop since I think I probably shop every month. Lol. I think maybe this year I should go for more visiting.

I'm closer to my camera. But I think some days I work around 10 hours, including giving tuition.

Gosh. I'm exhausted. Gonna miss her since she's leaving to NZ soon.

Soon, I'll dedicate a entry for her.=)

1st entry of 2010
Sunday, January 3, 2010 || 10:33 PM

I miss the times when I could just buy shoes whenever I want.
I miss the times when I shop without feeling worried that I am broke.

Okay, I should just stop those nonsense. I didn't go bankrupt, just that I spend more WISELY nowdays.

2010, not a bad start afterall. But I have to admit that I lost contacts with many peoples, U8 dudes, college dudes and etc. A day just after christmas we went to Grace's house for bbq party. Met lotsa new ppl over there and a few of us went lah.

baked this for the party. It actually sunk at both sides. I dunno why, but it sure does taste yummy.=)

Try and spot us.=)

Then we went to Genting again on the 1st Jan. Nothing much but walk walk and walk. Bought a new pair of heels from Padini. 50% off though. I love saless. I spend pretty wisely. Really.

In the car.

The next day after Genting, we had BBQ, it actually rained and we found one spot at the basement for bbq. Oh well, 4 generations of photography club members are here. Its like a small gathering. Barbeque-ing in the basement under the rain. Not a bad feeling afterall.

With Miss Then, our 4 generation bio teacher and photography club adviser. Why 4 generation? Lol. It actually starts in 2007 when I'm the president, then in 08, Kevin Cheng, 09-my sis. and 10, sayang. XD. *fingers crossed* Its more like how we worked together in a group actually.

Then I feel like baking cupcakes, so I decided to ask Irene to bake cupcakes with me. Its a mess, and filled with trial and error, but its so worth it. I try modifying the recipe from the cake above and it suceeded.=D

Not bad for first timers working with the frostings.

Now I realised that how MUCH sugar people put in their frosting. Its scary when you realise the amount of sugar you need to use.

pink coloured ones- banana flavour
dark brown- dark chocolate
light brown- coffee

Sis gave 8/10 out of it. Seriously, the amount of sugar for the frosting should be reduced.

Tomorrow would be a full day of working. And I would start teaching tuitions to my neighbours.

Hectic life? Maybe not afterall.
